South African raisin prices have been subjected to downward pressure of late due to competitive offers from rival producer Turkey, QFN Trading & Agency said in a December 15 report.
South Africa’s new raisin new crop is approaching and it appears to be favourable both in terms of quality and quantity.
In recent weeks the prices for the natural material in particular have faced downward pressure due to a lower market in Turkey.
